About Us
Fanshawe, Inc. dba Rockland Electric was incorporated in 1981 by George Fanshawe. George joined the IBEW Local Union 363 at the age of 18, and attended their 6 year apprenticeship program. Following graduation, he worked as a Journeyman electrician for several years before getting his Master Electrician license and going into business for himself. George was joined by his brother John Fanshawe in 1993, a certified Master Electrician himself, holding four licenses throughout the Lower Hudson Valley.

Today, this family owned shop works throughout the entire lower Hudson Valley, employing over 30 union electricians. Rockland Electric’s workforce is trained by the same IBEW apprenticeship program George himself attended, guaranteeing quality workmanship at the highest standards.
